The Unity Spiritual Center of Coastal Delaware is a diverse and innovative spiritual community in Long Neck, in Sussex County, Delaware.
If you believe that the divine spark of God, our Creator, exists within each of us, then this is your Spiritual Community.
During introspection, if you recognize there are times you are receptive to the stirring of divine knowing, then this is the place to explore your spirituality. If you trust that you are a child of God and you clearly affirm that message, please join us. If you are questioning your divine nature and want to gain understanding in that fundamental Truth, join us. We are living, breathing humans learning, doing, practicing, and allowing. Sometimes we walk in faith and sometimes miss the mark. Please join us, as we set our faith-compass on brighter days and kinder, more compassionate lives.
Our 10 a.m. Sunday Services are in person and videos are available on this website and on our Facebook page. Service themes span the globe from social justice and inclusion to environmental stewardship and personal responsibility. The Sunday Service includes prayers, uplifting contemporary folk and pop, rock Christian music, meditation and a heart opening message. Often the Sunday messages rely on the texts of spiritual way showers from Louise Hay to Ibram Kendi, Martin Luther King, Jr to Pema Chodron and Jesus to Mohammad.
We are a growing group of mighty spirits having human experiences in affiliation with Unity Worldwide Ministries (UWM).
Our first service was held on August 3, 2014, led by Ms. Sandy Souder, a licensed Unity Teacher (LUT), our local Unity Spiritual Center founder.
Classes such as "Lessons in Truth" and "Unity Basics" are offered. They are a great way to get acquainted with Unity and its principles.
